Two Chelsea aces added to Tatler’s annual ‘most eligible’ list – & one admits he’s never been to a pub
TOFFS’ mag Tatler has hailed Chelsea and England footballer Mason Mount as the country’s most eligible bachelor.
The 100-year-old society bible usually prefers to put heirs and heiresses to old-money fortunes in their sought-after singletons list.
But this year it also bigged up a rapper, an EastEnders actor and a Love Islander.
Portsmouth-born Mason, 23, posed in Ralph Lauren suits with It girl model Emilia Boateng for a photoshoot and said “football is my priority” over women.
The list is sure to prompt banter when England travel to Qatar this month as fellow footie stars Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Bukayo Saka also made the grade — as did boss Gareth Southgate’s daughter Mia.
Chelsea midfielder Ruben, 26, scores highly with the mag because he has an “over-the-shoulder Gucci bag”.

Harldy cause for applause on the terrraces.
Arsenal’s brilliant attacker Bukayo, 21, was a Tatler hot date for achieving four A stars and three As in his GCSEs.
Mia won praise for the “outfits of the day” she tells her TikTok followers about.
Also on the list are actor Ncuti Gatwa, 30, and Holly Ramsay, 22, the daughter of celeb chef Gordon.

Ncuti deserves his lofty status.
Having escaped from genocide in Rwanda as a child he is the next Doctor Who.
Holly’s credentials, says Tatler, are a mental health podcast and bikini snaps of herself.

Little Simz
The 28-year-old North London rapper riled against “knocking down communities to re-up on properties” on her Mercury Music Prize winning album.
Any date with the numerous heirs to massive estates on the list would certainly be lively.
George Russell
THE F1 racing driver, 24, managed to get on the list ahead of his richer and more famous Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton despite being in a two-year relationship with broker Carmen Mundt since 2020.
Ripley Parker
WESTWORLD actress Thandiwe Newton’s 21-year-old daughter said she’d never date a Tory and told Boris Johnson he was a “c***.”
Perhaps, not the right person to match-make with viscounts.
Steven Bartlett
THE Dragon’s Den entrepreneur, 30, who was expelled from school, isn’t an obvious upper crust choice.
And they’re unlikely to agree with him that “there’s not much to be gained from money”.
Mia Regan
THE 19-year-old model almost became part of celeb Royalty when she dated Romeo Beckham for three years.
But they split in July as Romeo focussed on his football career.
Lily Sheen
THE 23-year-old actress reckons it “can be difficult” having Hollywood big-hitters Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen for parents.
The famous offspring in Tatler’s Little Black Book are the only ones likely to get the violins out.
Mason Mount
CHELSEA midfielder Mason won’t be taking any date down to his local because he’s “never been to a pub”.
Gemma Owen
THIS year’s Love Island runner-up is ranked second in Tatler’s Little Black Book.
The 19-year-old is a dressage rider, which will make her a perfect match for the horsey set.
Maro Itoje
ENGLAND’S 27-year-old rugby union star flanker has the looks and skills.
A scholarship at Harrow public school and his love of “browsing galleries in Mayfair” also helps.

Bobby Brazier
AT first glance the EastEnders actor, who is the Essex-born son of the late Big Brother star Jade Goody, might seem out of place with the upper classes.
But Bobby, 19, is a model and was educated at a private school.
