James Corden and Mariah Carey look festive in red and green as pop diva joins Late Late Show host for Carpool Karaoke
All I Want for Christmas singer makes her second appearance on the popular segment
IT looks like we're in for a very Carey Christmas, as pop superstar Mariah Carey joins James Corden for a festive episode of Carpool Karaoke.
The American singer, 46, met up with Brit export James in Calabasas, California, Friday to film the segment for his US talk show The Late Late Show.
James even brought Mariah an early Christmas gift when he picked her up — a Christmas tree tied to the roof of his SUV.
Mariah showed off her cleavage in a bedazzled lace bra under a red leather jacket, teamed with tight ripped jeans and black lace-up stilettos.
Her long blonde locks were styled in her signature waves, and she flashed her massive engagement ring from billionaire fiance James Packer.
“It’s absolutely my favourite holiday and I’ve always loved everything about this time of year."
The star released a Christmas album, Merry Christmas, in 1994.
It went on to become the best-selling Christmas album of all time, with the song All I Want for Christmas Is You becoming one of the best-selling singles.
Last year she starred in the musical comedy film A Christmas Melody, based on the hit album.
Lately she's been promoting her new docu-series, Mariah's World, which will premiere in the US on December 4.
The eight episodes follow Mariah as she begins her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour around Europe and plans her wedding.
This will mark Mariah's second appearance on Carpool Karaoke, after she belted out Fantasy, Always Be My Baby and other hits with James for a March episode of his show.
James later revealed the diva refused to sing at first, saying she'd been up all night and wasn't up to it.
The host told Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show: "She came out and said, 'Oh, I'm not singing today,' and she went, 'We'll just drive around and have a chat.'
"I went, 'Oh, right. It's just, we call it Carpool Karaoke, so without that...'
"And then I thought, I've just gotta go. I've just gotta jump into it."
