Carol Vorderman reveals energy-saving hack to beat cost of living crisis that means she never turns the heating on
CAROL Vorderman has revealed an incredible energy-saving hack to beat the cost of living crisis.
The telly star, 61, told fans about her quick fix that means she never turns the heating on.
Chatting on the podcast, Carol spoke about the way she has been saving the pennies.
She revealed she insulates every room when she moves in, saying ‘everything I can insulate, I do.’
Carol said: "I'm not sure if my heating is on or not you know.
"I've been a great proponent of insulate, insulate, insulate, all my life and I am so old I've lived in various houses. "

She added: "It's the first thing I do - walls, floors, ceilings, everywhere I can insulate I do.
"So I live in this strange cocoon thing - I'm forever opening windows."
During the same podcast Carol revealed has revealed she was shamed for wearing a miniskirt when she was only 39.
She explained: “When I was 39, not my grandmother, not my mother, it was the 21st Century it was the year 2000."

She continued: “Be a bit selfish, or what we’re told is selfish, it's selfish at all, it’s just that it’s been ingrained in women’s heads that looking after yourself a bit or having a bit of time for me is selfish.
"It’s not but if that’s how you do then be a bit more selfish.”
