Where Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets cast are now – dating a fan to star’s shocking swipe at Phillip Schofield
WANT to hear something that will make you feel really old? It's been 20 years since Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets came out.
The second instalment of the boy wizard film franchise was a box office hit, grossing $879million worldwide, and was nominated for a Grammy and a BAFTA.
It introduced us to scheming Professor Gilderoy Lockhart and Tom Marvolo Riddle - who grew up to become Lord Voldemort.
Here we take a look at what the cast have got up to since.
Colin Creevy - Hugh Mitchell
Harry Potter super-fan Colin, who spent his time running around after the famous wizard with his camera, made his first appearance in Chamber of Secrets.

He was brought to life by Hugh Mitchell, now 33 and unrecognisable, having lopped off his boyhood curtains and begun wearing specs.
After Harry Potter he went on to appear in a number of other films including The Da Vinci Code, as Young Silas, and Wondrous Oblivion.
TV credits include The White Queen alongside Max Irons, Whitechapel and Waking the Dead.
He's since focused his time on photography - something the Surrey-based artist says has always been a passion.
He now specialises in landscapes, weddings and headshots for fellow actors.
Professor Sprout - Miriam Margolyes
Herbology teacher Professor Sprout is seen as a somewhat calm character - but the actress who plays her is anything but.
Since the 2002 film Miriam Margoyles has been embroiled in all kinds of spats thanks to her fearlessness for speaking her mind and turning the air blue.
The actress, 81, came under fire by broadcast regulator Ofcom in 2020 after saying she hoped then Prime Minister Boris Johnson would die of Covid.
On Channel 4's The Last Leg, she said: "I wanted him to die [Boris]. Then I thought that will reflect badly on me and I don’t want to be the sort of person that wants people to die."
Miriam also bizarrely asked Daniel Radcliffe if he had a foreskin when they appeared on The Graham Norton Show together, and also accused Philip Scofield of taking drugs during an appearance on This Morning.
The film star also shocked fans when she admitted she hit her paralysed mother while caring for her.
Aylish McFarlane, from Glasgow, posted a TikTok about their relationship which went viral in 2020. It's not known if they are still together.
Professor Lockhart - Kenneth Branagh
Veteran actor Kenneth, 61, played the fraudulent Professor Lockhart who used his one skill - a memory charm - to take credit for other people's work.
He was already a household name and has continued to be a presence on screen; recent films include Death on The Nile, The Orient Express and A Haunting in Venice.
At the time of filming the Chamber of Secrets, Kenneth was divorced from actress Emma Thompson - who in 2013 confirmed rumours that their split was due to his infidelity.
The actor is understood to have had an affair with Helena Bonham Carter in 1994, spelling the end of his six-year marriage.
In a Sunday Times interview Emma said: "It’s pointless. I haven’t got the energy for it. Helena and I made our peace years and years ago.”
Kenneth is now happily married to film art director Lindsay Brunnock, who he met filming Shackleton in 2002. The pair wed a year after their meeting.
Tom Marvolo Riddle - Christian Coulson
Christian was the first actor to play a young version of Harry Potter's nemesis Lord Voldemort.
Since the film he's enjoyed small parts in TV shows Gossip Girl, Nashville and Blue Bloods, as well as stage productions of Romeo and Juliet, Journey's End and Ghosts.
The actor, 44, moved to New York in 2010 and alongside acting is a director and photographer.
Mr Mason - Jim Norton
Irish actor Jim featured in the film at the beginning when Harry was stuck at home with the Dursleys.
Since appearing in the film, Jim has gone on to be in blockbusters Water for Elephants and Mary Poppins Returns, while his stage acting has won him Olivier and Tony Awards.
One of his most memorable TV roles was as grumpy Bishop Brennan in the sitcom Father Ted.
The star is now 84.
Young Hagrid - Martin Bayfield
Martin, 55, appeared in the film in flashbacks as Young Hagrid who brings the giant spider Aragog to Hogwarts.
The former England rugby player, who is 6ft 10in tall, worked as a stuntman, filling in for Robbie Coltrane.
Hi sporting career was cut short due to injury and he now he works as a sports pundit for BT.
The former sportsman has been married twice, sharing daughters Roseanna, Polly, and Lucy with his first wife Helena. He is now married to Jane Goodman.
Aragog - Julian Glover
Established actor Julian, 87, provided the voice for the giant spider Aragog in the second movie.
The creature was looked after by Hagrid - and greatly feared by Ron.
Since appearing in the wizarding film, Julian has gone on to star in HBO hit Game of Thrones as Grand Master Pycell, as well as The Avengers and Dr Who.
Julian is divorced from his first wife, fellow actress Dame Eileen Atkins, and is now married to Isla Blair.
