X Factor duo Bratavio have lashed out at Alesha Dixon after she referred to them as “Dumb and Dumber” on Loose Women.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge was upset Louis chose to put the group - made up of Ottavio and Bradley - through to the live shows and she was more than happy to talk about it on Monday's show.
When she was asked if there was anyone that shouldn't have got through, she told her co-panellists Stacey Solomon, Lisa Riley, Jane Moore and Coleen Nolan that she wouldn't have put through Bratavio but she struggled to remember their names.
Holding her head in her hands, she joked she had no idea and then said: “Dumb and Dumber.”
The audience laughed at her joke but Bratavio did not see the funny side.
Later on in the show, during a discussion about whether or not the Loose Women panel would criticise their own children, Bratavio accused Alesha of being a hypocrite.
Fans of the pair quickly jumped to their defence after Alesha's comments.
One wrote: “She's nasty was no need for her to be so horrible #bully.”
Another tweeted: “How dare she!”
Alesha helped the Irishman choose his final three acts alongside Fleur East on last night’s episode of the ITV talent show.
But Louis left fans outraged over his decision to ditch popular girl band 4 of Diamonds in favour of ‘joke act’ Ottavio and Bradley, and it seems Alesha agreed with them.
Taking to Instagram to share a snap of herself with Louis and Fleur at Judge’s Houses, she wrote: “Well that was fun!
“But I am gutted, I was really rooting for the 2 girl groups! @thexfactor #thexfactor”.
There’s one show Alesha won’t be doing again, however: Strictly Come Dancing.
When 72-year-old Len Goodman revealed he was quitting the hit BBC One dancing show after the forthcoming series, some tipped Alesha to return but it seems she’s not keen.
She said: “No I’m certainly not going back.
“For me it’s about moving forward and actually I’m really sad that Len is leaving but I totally understand.
“I had a great catch up with Bruno Tonioli recently and it’s a massive deal because he’s been there from the start.”
Alesha won series five of the show in 2007 with professional dancer Matthew Cutler, before replacing Arlene Phillips on the judging panel from series seven.
The 37-year-old left the show in 2012 after three years as a judge to take up a position on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell.
