Who is Natasha Huq?
NATASHA Huq has made a name for herself as a highly successful architect.
She is now appearing on Channel 4's Grand Designs: House of the Year alongside Kevin McCloud.
Who is Natasha Huq?
Natasha Huq is an Edinburgh-based RIAS Conservation Accredited architect.
She has over ten year's experience in the creative adaptation of existing buildings.
Huq studied architecture at the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2003.
She now specialises in community engagement and has worked with organisations, such as the Old Town Development Trust, the Jedburgh Community Trust and the Shetland Amenity Trust.
Since February 2017, she has been an external marker, guest lecturer and design tutor at ESALA (University of Edinburgh).
Huq has also co-developed Talks at the Lane, a series of themed lectures which brings together some high-profile architectures to encourage others on becoming one.

She is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within architectural practice and often volunteers for groups such as the RIAS Education Group and the EAA Conservation Group.
What TV shows has Natasha been in?
Natasha is no stranger to our screens having previously appeared in the second series of Grand Designs: The Street, on Channel 4.
The series saw Kevin McCloud and Natasha revisit the ten households constructing their own homes as part of a massive self-build project during the first series of The Street.
On November 15, 2022, Natasha appeared alongside McCloud on The One Show discussing Grand Designs.

As mentioned above, she is now set to star on Channel 4's Grand Designs House of the Year, with McCloud and property expert Damion Burrows.
The four-week series, which begins tonight (November 16), will see seven houses shortlisted for the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) House of the Year award before the winner is announced in the final episode.
