JUSTIN Bieber shocked fans in Manchester with a surprise appearance at student club night Taboo on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old superstar, who was enjoying a rare night off his Purpose world tour, slipped into the sell-out event at Tiger Tiger to preview new track Close To You.
A source inside the club tells The Sun Online: “It was absolute carnage when Justin walked in with his entourage just after midnight.
“He was with around 20 people and some of the Manchester Hockey team who he'd been hanging out with earlier in the evening in Altrincham.
"Rather than just stick to the VIP area he was up partying with people and jumped into the DJ booth to play two new tracks and then left just after 3AM by the fire exit."
The club night, dubbed Manchester's No.1 midweek party, has become a celebrity hot spot recently.
Just weeks ago it attracted stars including Katie Price and Scotty T during their controversial rendezvous.
With a capacity of 2,000 and doubles costing just £2 – it’s not hard to see why.
Fellow clubbers couldn’t believe their eyes when the A-lister arrived and took to Twitter to express their shock.
Cameron Dobson wrote: “Swear Justin bieber is a like a trillion air and he goes taboo for is £2 doubles.”
Tarik added: "No way was Justin Bieber at Taboo Tuesday."
Earlier in the week Justin told fans the real reason why he stormed off-stage during his concert in Manchester, declaring: "I am not being an a**hole".
The pop star disappointed gig-goers on Sunday when he dropped his microphone and walked off.
He was booed by angry fans over the shocking incident, which reportedly took place after he told audience members to stop screaming when he was trying to perform.
However, a video has now emerged showing him explaining himself.
Shortly after walking off, Justin, 22, returned to the stage and explained why he wanted the noise in the venue to be reduced.
He said: "I feel like I wanna connect with you.
"The point of the no screaming thing is that when I’m looking at you in the eyes you know that we’re actually having a moment and having connection.
"So it’s not that I’m being an a**hole, it simply me just wanting to have a moment."
