X Factor’s Saara Aalto ‘jealous’ as lesbian lover is pictured with ‘love of her life’ Nicole Scherzinger

X Factor star Saara Aalto saw her fiancee’s dreams come true over the weekend when she got a picture with her crush Nicole Scherzinger.

Saara’s previously revealed she felt jealous of The X Factor judge because Meri Sopanen has got a soft spot for her.

Meri shared the picture of herself cosied up to the former Pussycat Doll who Saara described as the “love of her life”.

Saara shared the snap and wrote on Instagram: “When I first met my girl she had Nicole's picture on her lock screen (that's how much she loves her… And I was a bit jealous).

“One of the best moments yesterday was when my fiancee @merisopanen met the love of her life @nicolescherzy.”

Meri managed to snatch a quiet moment with Nicole when Saara had finished her incredible performance of Björk’s hit song So Quiet.

Saara has been dating Meri since she ended her nine year relationship with Finnish pop star Teemu Roivainen.

The singer regularly gushes about her pretty girlfriend, captioning one picture of her online: “I love this girl who makes me laugh everyday.

“My soulmate, thank you for the beautiful and spiritual connection.”

The Finnish star is proving popular in the competition and has even caught the eye of last year’s X Factor winner Fleur East.

Writing in her column for the London Evening Standard, Fleur said: “I was also happy that Saara Aalto wasn’t in the bottom three because she never deserved to be there.

“She was on fire this week. If I was in the competition I would be scared!”
