Inside lavish lives of Kim Kardashian’s kids as Kanye pays £167k-a-month child support – mini jeeps to Balenciaga gear
KANYE West is due to pay a whopping £167,000 in child support payments as part of his divorce settlement.
It follows months of legal drama between the rapper, now known as Ye, and Kim Kardashian, mother of his four children, who is reportedly worth £1.5billion.
The mind-boggling sum is reportedly 470 times higher than the average payment in California, which is £350 per child a month.
Child support calculations are based on the amount needed to allow the divorcees’ kids to carry on living the lives they are accustomed to.
For Ye, this comes at an almightily-hefty cost as Chicago, North, Psalm and Saint are all used to ludicrous luxury.
From hiring out an entire theme park for a birthday party to personalised gold jewellery and designer gear, we look into their extremely glamorous lifestyles.
Unforgettable birthday parties
It’s easy to get carried away when planning for your kid’s birthday – but when you’re a member of the Kardashian family it gets taken one giant step further.
To mark North’s second birthday Kim Kardashian shut down an entire section of Disneyland – a theme park that gets more than 44,000 visitors each day.
The youngster, now nine, tends to share birthdays with her cousin Penelope Disick, but no expense is spared.
They have had a Candyland-themed party with an ice cream truck, a Moana bash with a pig petting zoo and a minifestival dubbed ‘Kidchella’ with a Ferris wheel.
Another memorable bash was North’s Wild West-themed seventh birthday, where the kids went horseriding, watched a grand firework display and met the youngster’s favourite YouTube star Coyote Peterson.
Fleet of mini-cars
Kim was gifted her first car – a white BMW – at 16 years old but her kids didn’t have to wait that long.
Last year, Psalm was pictured posing in a mini blu Power Wheels Jeep, which cost around £330, on his 2nd birthday.
Chicago was gifted a car on her first birthday – a yellow mini Mercedes G-Wagon that matched a real one Ye bought for Kim.
The four-year-old also received a sparkly, silver Bentley to match her cousin Stormi – daughter of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott.
In addition to cars, Kris Jenner bought baby Chicago some exceptionally expensive new wheels, when she spent in excess of £6,500 on three super-high-end Silver Cross Balmoral prams.
Balenciaga wardrobe & personalised bling
With extremely fashionable parents who have their own clothing ranges, the Kardashian-West kids were bound to be trendy.
Kim has come under fire for the expensive outfits she decks her kids in – including a custom-made Balenciaga jacket and tutu for North.
In one comment, she argued that her child has “a passion 4 fashion” and they had “given her the tools 2 explore” her creativity.
“We make all of her clothes, so she picks the fabrics at fabric stores,” Kim wrote in a separate tweet.
During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last year, the mum-of-four seemed passionate about allowing each of her kids to showcase their own identity through fashion.
She described Chicago as her “girliest girl” who “loves pink and purple”, Chicago as being a fan of “anything princess” and North loving “fake tattoos” and being “a full goth girl”.
Glam holidays & catwalks
The Kardashians are used to regular holidays in stunning locations across the world – including Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Tokyo.
And it’s not just the glamorous surroundings that cause a stir – in February, Kim was accused of “flaunting wealth” by showing off the family’s designer items.
It followed her sharing a snap of Chicago and her cousin Stormi drying off in a £525 Louis Vuitton towel.
Alongside the holidays, the family are regular jetsetters – with Kim and Kanye often taking their kids to fashion and red-carpet events.
During Paris Fashion Week, North was seen in a number of Balenciaga items including £850 Balenciaga croc sandals.
And in September, even four-year-old Chicago was seen to have been given a glam look.
For Kim’s Dolce & Gabbana collaboration during Milan Fashion Week, in September, the youngster was pictured wearing a rhinestone corset and a diamante-detailed handbag.
In previous years, most of the kids have been spotted with personalised gold necklaces too.
