First Dates to result in first baby after couple reveal they are expecting after meeting on show
It was love at first sight for Ibiba Mudada and Aarron Stewart, who are having their first child together just months after setting eyes on one another
AFTER seven series (plus one celebrity special) and 51 episodes, First Dates has finally resulted in a pregnancy between two matched-up individuals taking part on the show.
Ibiba Mudada and Aarron Stewart met on the Channel 4 dating show and it was instant fireworks between the two - so much so that Ibiba found out that she was expecting just months after they met.
Their baby is due in April and they are planning to move in together.
The couple had gone to a shisha bar after enjoying their meal at the lavish restaurant near St Paul's Cathedral in London.
They admitted that within three dates they couldn't stay apart from one another.
Ibiba, who also has a 10-year-old daughter, revealed: “I was trying to keep it cool but I fancied him so much. I loved his long eyelashes and really genuine smile.”
The 28-year-old added: "Things got serious after the third date. Everything was quite intense. Then we went bowling and he met one of my best friends, who told me, ‘He’s a good ’un!’
“When I found out I was pregnant I wasn’t sure how he’d react. It was so soon.
“We were getting into bed and I said, ‘There’s a baby in my belly – what’s going on?’ but he seemed really happy.”
Aarron, 33, also has a daughter - Tia, nine - and a six-year-old son called Latham.
The couple first met in June on the show and quickly found out that they had a lot in common - including the fact that they live just 10 minutes away from each other in Bristol and that each of their parents had worked together as social workers.
Speaking about the pregnancy, Aarron said: "I never expected to find love, let alone have a kid. It’s absolutely nuts – but I’m so happy."

On Monday night's episode, he reveals that he admitted to his baby mama that he'd spent six months in prison when he was 20 for ABH.
He said: "I wanted to be honest, it was up to her if she accepted it or not. If she hadn’t we’d have just gone our separate ways."
But this didn't put Ibiba off and she said that she could "understand" as she'd had relatives in prison: "I think I loved him even more when he told me that."
She added: “It’s personality I go for most and I really fell in love with his honesty.”
Aarron also admitted that he was previously "adamant" about not having any more children but that he realised how excited he was after going to the first scan: "I can’t wait to go back to the restaurant with our new baby and show Fred, the maitre d’.”
