Inside Amanda Holden’s Christmas getaway to New York with her daughters including ice skating and skycraper selfies

AMANDA Holden has given a glimpse inside her incredible Christmas getaway to New York with her family.

The BGT judge, 51, flew over to the popular American city with her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters Hollie, 10, and Alexa, 16.

Amanda shared a selection of snaps and videos from her holiday for her 1.8m followers to enjoy.

The TV personality ticked off everything on a tourist's check list during her time away.

Amanda smiled for a picture at Times Square with her girls, paid her respects at the 9/11 memorial and posed for selfies in front of the incredible skyline.

They also saw the Statue of Liberty, enjoyed a bite to eat at The Polo Bar and visited Brooklyn Bridge.

Not only that, they went to see the Rockettes at Radio City, took a snap of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and did also bit of ice skating.

Amanda also shared a rare snap of herself and husband Chris.

She captioned the post: "Fantastic family trip #NYC 🍏."

The couple have been married since 2008 after meeting in 2003.

The TV favourite was previously wed to Les Dennis between 1995 and 2003.

It comes days after Amanda burst into tears after she was reunited with the woman who saved her life on Britain's Got Talent: Ultimate Magician.

The judge was invited onto the stage by former BGT winner Richard Jones during Sunday's special episode.

Richard asked her to name someone who meant a lot to her and she picked Pippa Nightingale.

When Richard asked who she was, Amanda choked back tears as she said "she's the woman who saved my life".

Taking hold of Amanda's hand, Richard then placed his hand on a mirrored box before a woman came into view behind it.

When Amanda saw her, she burst into tears and revealed it was Pippa.
