Mariah Carey flashes $10million engagement ring as she ‘insists James Packer buys her an LA mansion in split settlement’
The pop diva didn't see any need to take off her eye-popping sparkler as she stepped out with friends
MARIAH Carey made it clear that she wasn't going to let the breakdown of her engagement to Australian billionaire James Packer stop her from flaunting the dazzling $10 million engagement ring he bought her.
The 46-year-old singer didn't seem to have a care in the world as she was spotted making her way out of AU Fudge in West Hollywood on Sunday night where she had enjoyed a meal with her twin children, Moroccan and Monroe.
The smiling superstar was dressed casually in ripped white jeans and a plunging black top, while she tied a black and white shirt around her waist.
She completed her look with towering heels, black boots and diamond accessories, while she donned her trademark black shades and cute pink cat ears.
Mariah was grinning ear to ear as she deals with the renewed public interest in her personal life.
Since news of the pair's split first came to light it has since been claimed that Mariah has asked the businessman to purchase a mansion in Los Angeles for her as part of an alleged $50 break up settlement.
Mariah is believed to have been told to vacate the Calabasas estate that the former lovebirds shared before their split last month and now reports that the music icon wants a new home along with her payout due to the fact she had to uproot her young children from their life in New York due to the relationship.
It has also been claimed that the We Belong Together singer had refused to sleep with ex-fiance James because she doesn't believe in sex before marriage.
The singer has been hit with claims that she was cheating on her 49-year-old billionaire beau with choreographer Bryan Tanaka, however friends are adamant that this is false as Mariah won’t have a physical relationship until she’s hitched.
A source told TMZ, that Mariah is a “traditional girl” and that she wouldn’t bend her rules for anyone – not even James.
According to friends, even though the pair lived together and spent weeks at a time on his yacht, their relationship was never sexual and they would sleep in separate bedrooms.
They’re relationship was more like that of “lovesick 12-year-olds” as they “made out” a lot but never took things any further, which is why James wanted to get married as soon as possible.
Casino billionaire James proposed to pop’s ultimate diva in January after a whirlwind romance that saw the couple jet across the world and holiday on his super yacht.
But the Aussie businessman and the singer have dramatically called off their ten-month engagement following an explosive row in Greece last month.
Former Scientologist James, who is worth around £2.8billion, is also said to have struggled with the singer’s decision to feature their relationship in her new reality TV show Mariah’s World, which premieres on E! in December.
