Towie’s Pete Wicks admits life without Megan McKenna means NOTHING in his first interview as he reveals people shout ‘c**t’ at him in the street after that sext scandal
- PEOPLE SHOUT C**T AT ME IN THE STREET
- I DON'T KNOW IF SHE'LL EVER TRUST ME AGAIN
- I'VE GOT NOTHING TO HIDE NOW
- I'LL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO GET MEGAN BACK

IN his first interview since THAT sexting scandal, Pete Wicks has opened up about his devastation at losing girlfriend Megan McKenna.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, just weeks after we revealed his dirty messages to his model ex Jacqui Ryland, the Towie star emotionally admits his life means nothing without Megan.
Since their split in September, Pete has desperately tried to win Megan back but so far it's not worked - leaving him in pieces.
He says: "I've got absolutely nothing to lose now because I've already lost it all.
"I'm focusing on everything I can do to get Megan back.
"I hurt her so much but she's the only one that matters - everyone else can f**k off.
"I've got nothing to hide from her, all that matters is Megan."
Despite pictures showing the pair sitting in a cafe in Essex on Saturday laughing and joking, Pete says the couple definitely haven’t reconciled, with Megan telling him it's still too raw.
Pete explains: "We aren't back together - that's not the case.
“I'm doing everything I can to get her back, of course, but it's going to take a lot of time to get Megan to trust me again.
"I don't know if she ever will.
"I know there are going to be a lot of ups and downs.
"If Megan decides there is a future between us she's told me it's going to be a long time before that happens but I've accepted that.
"I've got all the time in the world.
"I know what I want and I know what my future is: it's Megan."
Pete has never publicly explained why he started to message Jacqui - although in messages published by The Sun Online Pete revealed he missed their time together and he couldn’t wait to come home from his “boring” trip away to Barcelona with Megan.
In our exclusive interview 28-year-old Pete remains guarded but admits he's messed up.
Pete says: "What I did to Megan was wrong and part of being a man is doing things to fix it when you make mistakes."
Since they started dating in March this year, Pete grew close to Megan's parents Dave and Tanya and her younger sister Millie.
Although he visited them just days after the scandal broke, Pete makes it clear he's still got a lot of bridges to build.
He says: "I've seen her family to apologise. I've let them all down.
"They took me in and they were really good to me - their opinions matter to me so much.
"I know I've got to prove to Megan's family and friends how much I love her.
"The people that know us as a couple, I've got to show them how much I mean it."
When The Sun Online revealed Pete's messages, the couple were filming in Marbella with their cast mates.
In upsetting scenes that played out less than two weeks later, a devastated Megan, 24, could be seen screaming and crying as Pete tries to calm her.
Three days later Megan was back home in the UK, with some of the cast later shunning Pete.
Megan’s close friend Danielle Armstrong took to Twitter to share her disapproval at her friend’s actions, writing: “I swear to god I will never date an Essex boy again what is wrong with these men?
“Men will always rule the world because women can’t stick together…Slag girls entertaining boys with girlfriends makes me so angry.”
Meanwhile Pete’s friend James Locke - who Pete stars alongside in the latest sexy Christmas campaign for - told him he had been “a f***ing idiot” during a heart to heart soon after his return to Essex.
Since then, the once popular Pete has been cast out and he admits he's received abuse not only from people he believed were friends but from random members of the public.
He explains: "Being on the show when this happened, everything has been heightened and made worse.
"It's all played out in public.
"People shout at me in the streets, they call me a c**t and all sorts of other things.
"It's unnecessary but I don't let them get to me."
Speaking about support from his cast mates, Pete continues: "James (Lock) has been so good, it's things like this with me and Megan that have shown me who my real friends are, the people who will always stand by you whether you f***ed up or not.
"His support has meant a lot to me throughout all this.
"There are so many people out there whose opinions don't matter but for me, I only care about what Megan thinks. She's the one I've got to prove myself to."
