New mum Maria Fowler reveals she’s on 10-week body blitz to lose two and a half stone
Maria Fowler is on a mission to lose two-and-a-half stone by New Year
MARIA Folwer has shown off her “mummy tummy” with pride for the first time since giving birth in September.
The former Towie star, 30, who welcomed baby Evie one month ago, plans to lose two-and-a-half stone by New Year and get back into her bikini for a winter holiday in the sun.
Maria put on almost three stone during her pregnancy.
Talking about her body, she said: "Lots of female celebrities don't like to show off their mummy tummy and keep themselves covered up after having a baby.
"But I am proud of every inch I have put on my waist because it all came from nurturing little Evie.”
"I feel blessed to have such a beautiful baby girl and I love being a mum, but I feel ready to get back in shape.
"I am going to blitz it for 10 weeks because I want to get back into my bikini in January for some winter sun.
"It's not going to be easy because I am showing a lot of fat around my midriff. But I'll put in the work and do it properly."
After giving birth the reality star tipped the scales at 11st 7lb.
Maria is being helped in her fitness drive by Evie's proud father, her boyfriend Kelvin Batey, 35, former BMX world champion racer.
She said: "Kelvin is a professional rider and he is in perfect shape.
"Just seeing his gorgeous body in the shower every morning is all the inspiration I need.
"We can leave Evie with my mum and exercise together. I've told Kelvin my six-pack will be flatter than his by the New Year."
Maria has developed a weight loss programme with the weight loss firm Forza Supplements.
The former Towie star is bottle feeding Evie because she is unable to breast feed and taking one of Forza's Shake It Slim meal replacement drinks every day instead of lunch.
Maria said: "They contain just 204 calories but have all the minerals and vitamins you need to replace one meal.
"They just give me that extra bit of help to shift my mummy tummy."
During the birth in September, complications caused Maria to lose half her blood.
She said: "I had a difficult birth and lost a lot of blood and it has taken me a few weeks to feel my normal self.
"It was great to enjoy some bonding time with Evie and Kelvin and experience all the joys of motherhood for the first time.
