CAROL Voderman was less than impressed when quizzed about I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! rumours on Good Morning Britain.
The TV veteran had appeared on the early morning show to speak with Susanna Reid and Ranvir Singh about the events which took place on Monday night's Pride Of Britain awards when the conversation turned to recent speculation that Carol will be heading to the Australian jungle.
Following a chat alongside inspirational Pride Of Britain winner Nikki Christou, Susanna said: "Before we let you go, rumours are swirling around if you are going to go in the jungle."
Caroline immediately interjected: "From the sublime to the ridiculous we’re going now."
Susanna continued: "Can you confirm or deny?"
Turning to speak with her young guest, Carol replied: "I cannot confirm nor deny, can I Nikki?"
Ranvir then pointed out: "She's not even making eye contact with us anymore."
Carol continued to ignore the topic as she spoke to Nikki saying: "We might be cooking up a little witchy grub muffin later, is that right? We might be doing that."
Carol's companion Nikki, 12, was presented the Child of Courage award the night before, which she clutched with pride throughout the interview.
After being diagnosed with the facially disfiguring arteriovenous malformation condition, the defiant schoolgirl set up a YouTube channel to share make-up tips and give advice to those with her condition or struggling with chronic illness.
So far, the inspirational schoolgirl has over 79,000 followers.
The Sun first revealed that Carol could be heading Down Under in September after sources revealed that ITV bosses were preparing to offer a six-figure deal to the former Countdown star.
Producers believe she will be a hit with older men — especially during the popular shower scenes — after enjoying sex symbol status for more than 30 years.
An insider said: “She is well-known and still carries a lot of sex appeal.
“ITV chiefs are also hoping that she will be the brains of the camp. She’s a TV legend and they’re prepared to splash the cash to land her.”
After leaving C4 game show Countdown in 2008, Carol co-hosted Loose Women before departing in 2014.
She featured in the Beeb’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired! six years ago and appeared on Channel 5 panel show It’s Not Me, It’s You.
