Towie’s Pete Wicks shows off new tattoo in tribute to ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna as he fights to win her back
Pete is trying anything to win over Megan after sexting scandal saw her dump the love rat reality star
PETE Wicks has got a new tattoo which appears to pay tribute to his ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna.
The heavily inked reality TV star has kept his new design under wraps but in this photograph, the delicate letter M can be seen on the inside of his hand.
In Wednesday's episode of Towie, Pete tries to keep his new inking under wraps but discreetly shows it off to his best friend James Lock.
The 28-year-old had been sending racy messages to model Jacqui Ryland while on holiday with Megan in Barcelona.
At the time, The Sun Online revealed the extent of Pete’s betrayal which left Megan heartbroken.
Since then, Pete has tried everything to win her back – from meeting her parents for a heart to heart to this new tattoo – but nothing has worked.
Although in recent days Megan appeared to be close to taking Pete back, in an emotional interview on Monday he told The Sun Online the pair were far from reconciliation.
Pete said: “We aren’t back together – that’s not the case.
“I don't know if she ever will.
“I know there are going to be a lot of ups and downs.
“If Megan decides there is a future between us she's told me it's going to be a long time before that happens but I've accepted that.
“I've got all the time in the world.
“I know what I want and I know what my future is: it's Megan.”
During our interview, Pete admitted he felt as though he had nothing when the stunning brunette walked out on him during scenes filmed in Towie.
He explained: He says: “I’ve got absolutely nothing to lose now because I’ve already lost it all.
“I’m focusing on everything I can do to get Megan back.
“I hurt her so much but she’s the only one that matters – everyone else can f**k off.
“I’ve got nothing to hide from her, all that matters is Megan.”
He said: “Being on the show when this happened, everything has been heightened and made worse.
“It's all played out in public.
“People shout at me in the streets, they call me a c**t and all sorts of other things.
“It's unnecessary but I don't let them get to me.”
Speaking about support from his cast mates, Pete continued: “James (Lock) has been so good, it's things like this with me and Megan that have shown me who my real friends are, the people who will always stand by you whether you f***ed up or not.
“His support has meant a lot to me throughout all this.
“There are so many people out there whose opinions don't matter but for me, I only care about what Megan thinks. She's the one I've got to prove myself to.”
