BEVERLEY Knight collapsed as she sang I Will Always Love You at Children In Need Rocks for Terry.
The event, held at London’s Albert Hall on Tuesday evening, saw a whole host of stars including Beverley take to the stage to perform.
Shocked audience members gasped as the singer dropped to the floor during the show.
The singer had appeared fine when she arrived, posing for the cameras on the red carpet.
She collapsed during a rendition of the hit song I Will Always Love You at around 8:30pm.
Worried crew members ran to her assistance as the hosts of the show hurriedly moved the show on.
An onlooker told The Sun Online: "Beverley collapsed in the middle of a song.
"She was singing I Will Always Love You When It happened - she just dropped to the floor.
"People came to help her really quickly and they moved onto a quiz.
"Everyone in the audience was shocked, we just hope she's feeling alright now."
BBC Children In Need later released a statement which read: "Unfortunately Beverley Knight was feeling faint whilst performing on stage at BBC Children in Need Rocks for Terry.
"She has since been attended to by medics, is feeling much better, and we wish her the very best as she makes a full recovery."
Worried fans wrote messages of support on Twitter to the star.
One said: "Hope you feel better soon my lovely...We all have limits & you should have a break & get some rest...thinking of you xxx."
Another said: "Thought you were going to crash to the floor tonight, hope you're on the mend."
A third fan in the audience tweeted: "Hope your ok. Was really worried watching u on stage."
Beverley was joined at the event by a whole host of stars including Take That, Olly Murs and Ellie Goulding.
On Tuesday Beverley’s representative told The Sun Online: “She was in a very hot dressing room back stage and left to go straight on stage where she suddenly felt faint mid performance.
“Medics saw her back stage afterwards and said she had low blood sugar but after 30 mins she felt much better and they signed her off to perform the number later in the evening - which she did without further issues.”
