Watch the shocking moment Beverley Knight collapses on stage during Children in Need charity show
The singer suffered a medical emergency during the gig in memory of late Terry Wogan
BEVERLEY Knight has been shown staggering off-stage in the arms of security staff after collapsing during a Children in Need charity show last night.
The singer suffered a medical emergency during the gig, and now The Sun Online's video shows the drama during the terrifying incident.
Beverley seemingly passed out during a rendition of I Will Always Love You at Children In Need Rocks for Terry last night.
Shocked audience members gasped as the singer dropped to the floor during the show.
The event was held at London’s Albert Hall in honour of the late Terry Wogan, but the gig was overshadowed by the singer's medical crisis.
Our exclusive video shows security staff swarming around Beverly, who leaned on one of the burly men as she was helped off the stage.
The singer seemed in high spirits when she arrived at the event as she posed on the red carpet.
An onlooker told The Sun Online: “Beverley collapsed in the middle of a song.
"She was singing I Will Always Love You When It happened – she just dropped to the floor.
"People came to help her really quickly and they moved onto a quiz.
"Everyone in the audience was shocked, we just hope she’s feeling alright now."
Beverley looked extremely unwell during the show as she lolled on the floor and was helped off the stage by the security staff.
BBC Children In Need later released a statement which read: “Unfortunately Beverley Knight was feeling faint whilst performing on stage at BBC Children in Need Rocks for Terry.
“She has since been attended to by medics, is feeling much better, and we wish her the very best as she makes a full recovery.”
No further details have been given about Beverley's condition, or the reason behind her collapse last night.
