Molly-Mae, 23, who is currently expecting a baby girl with boxer Tommy, 23, took to her Instagram with the news.

The expectant mum hasn't returned to TV since she appeared on Love Island in 2019, but revealed it was time for a change.

Taking to her stories, Molly-Mae posted a snap from a car as she revealed she was filming for a new project.

In a fan Q&A session, one fan asked: "Where are you off to?"

"Last day filming for something I've been involved in over the last few months," Molly-Mae penned.

"I've basically done zero television work for the last three years as it's not something I wanted to do, but the small involvement I've had in this project felt right."

It comes after Molly-Mae found herself in the firing line over her pregnancy, this time for a "dangerous" beauty habit.

The Love Island beauty is known for her long flowing blonde locks, and took to Instagram to show off her freshly coloured hair.

Posing with her newly dyed hair ahead of her upcoming due date, Molly-Ma said: "Will I be blonde forever?"

But some fans pointed out that pregnant women should avoid using bleach on their hair while they are carrying a baby.

One fan hit back, and wrote: "I can't believe you've been bleaching your hair while pregnant."

While another said: "Isn't it dangerous to bleach your hair when you're pregnant?" as a third questioned: "Can you dye your hair when pregnant?"

But others flocked to the comments section to defend her.

One said: "It is totally fine to … hair dye does NOT enter your bloodstream! And she has highlights … highlights don’t even touch your scalp so what would it be dangerous?"

This latest criticism comes after Molly-Mae was slammed by fans at the weekend over her new "cool mum" car.

It came after she showed off her new purchase ahead of giving birth to her first child but many of her fans have criticised her for showing off.

Her new pricey purchase, a Mercedes-AMG G Wagon, is thought to be worth a cool £193,000.
