The former Hollyoaks actress and Celebrity Big Brother star has announced she’s welcomed her first child
STEPHANIE Davis has given birth to her first child, a baby boy.
"Mother and baby are doing fine."
Meanwhile, Steph's ex Jeremy McConnell has refused to confirm he's the father of her baby, and told The Sun Online in a statement tonight: "I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.
"Any timescale for that is in Steph's hands now.
"I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn't hear back."
The star has been happily showing off her baby bump in a series of revealing snaps on social media recently, gushing over her unborn child.
Leaving little to the imagination, the star pulled her top up to flash her growing front and tattoos to the world.
Steph captioned the snap: "One tired Mummy with one tired boy! Ate so so much I cannot breath! Laughed so much playing Speak out hehe it's knackered me.
"Actually can't wait to get into bed tonight and snuggle this little one and make the most of our last memories of him being inside before he arrives to his mummy. Sweet dreams all, and to all good night."
It followed another snap of the star in a short black clinging dress, as she showed off a more glamorous side for the celebrations.
This time she wrote: "Merry Christmas, Love from me and my baby boy. Just Loving our first Christmas together💓 so blessed! Cannot wait for him to arrive now #comeonlittleon #firstfamilychristmas #mummy&son My little but perfect family.
"For everyone asking my dress is from @lasulaboutique."
Just recently, she shared a lengthy message with her fans, insisting her priorities have changed since finding out she’s pregnant.
“I can't see my life any different or imagine my life before I had my baby boy. Working hard mummy, so my son has a good life,” she wrote.
“Spending time with my family and decent people, enjoying every moment I have with loved ones and carrying my son, and luckily lots more amazing times I have to witness in the future till I'm old and grey.... that's true riches in life.
“So blessed every day to see him grow and kick and soon to be here, I can't believe I have been blessed with a beautiful child, I thank god every day for my beautiful boy.”
Stephanie has always insisted the father of her baby is ex Jeremy McConnell, but he previously denied it.
The pair split up shortly after their stint in Celebrity Big Brother, amid a string of explosive rows.
They haven’t been pictured together in months, and it’s not clear if Jeremy plans to be part of the baby’s life.
He insisted previously however that he will be responsible IF the baby is his, saying: "If I was a dad, I’d be 100 percent no, 110 percent, the best dad in the world.”
Meanwhile, Stephanie has recently found new love – claiming her pregnancy helped her find a man.
“She’s had to play the relationship cooler and be less intense because she needs to concentrate on the baby and setting up her new life.
“Her boyfriend has seen the best side of her rather than the wild Stephanie she used to be.”
