BEN Shephard made a bizarre joke about Amy Childs’ drinking habits live on Friday’s Good Morning Britain.
The presenter made the gag during an interview with Stephen Mulhern and Rochelle Humes who were promoting their new magic show The Next Great Magician.
The conversation turned to the pregnant former Towie star after Stephen revealed she’d been involved in a trick during filming for the ITV show.
After it was explained that Amy had happily drank a regurgitated concoction which a magician spat into a cup, Ben appeared to take a swipe.
He said: "It's not the worst thing she's drunk," before co-host Ranvir Singh warned him to “be careful” before saying anything else.
Talking about Amy's challenge, Stephen said: “There was one magician who chucked loads of drinks into a big bowl. Water, milk, coffee, gin, booze, eggs! A concoction of everything.
“The guy then put a mask on, threw a card into the audience and whoever caught it at random had to name a drink.
“[The audience member] then said: ‘I’ll have an Americano,’ and the magician puts his head into the bowl, comes up [with a mouthful of the concoction], and spits it into a cup.
“Amy Childs was in the audience and he asked her: ‘Do you want to make sure it is an Americano?’ Don’t forget it has just come out of his mouth and she went: ‘Yeah, I’ll give it a go.’
Revealing her shock at Amy drinking the regurgitated liquid, Rochelle added: “I was like ‘Is this actually happening?’ She was game and up for it.”
Following the tale, Ben added: “It’s not the worst thing she’s drunk, clearly.”
Presenter Ranvir Singh quickly warned him to “be careful” before saying anything else.
The studio then erupted in laughter.
Rochelle and Stephen's new show The Next Great Magician airs on ITV this Sunday.
Stephen said: "It's a big show! There's a live studio audience and they see exactly what you see at home.
"There's no camera tricks."
The winner of the six-part series will then get their own ITV special worth half a million pounds.
