Last week viewers voted to save their favourite acts, leaving Gifty and Four of Diamonds fighting for their place in the show.

After a gaffe from her own mentor Simon, it was decided by the remaining judges that Gifty would leave the competition following Fright Night week.

How is each theme decided?

In a new twist to this year's show, the theme of each live show is decided by a spinning jukebox.

Each Sunday, after an act is eliminated,  host Dermot O’Leary is joined by a special guest who will spin the jukebox wheel to reveal to the remaining contestants and the viewers at home the following week’s theme.

However, The X Factor was hit with fresh fix claims after 'Fright Night' was supposedly picked by chance in time for the week of Halloween.

However speaking on This Morning, Xtra Factor host Rylan was quick to shut down the rumours, admitting producers were desperate to stop it happening.
Rylan said: “It’s not fixed!
“I had executive producer next to me trying to blow it to stop it landing on Fright Night.

“It’s an empty shell, it’s tacky and tatty!

What themes are remaining?

The first live show kicked off with the theme Express Yourself, before the famous Jukebox came into play, since then, we've had Motown, Divas and Fright Night.

The speculated remaining themes include Louis' Loves (the judge's favourite picks), Movies, 80s and Disco.
