X FACTOR lovers Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie have revealed they’re on a sex ban during the competition.
The couple, who have been dating for nearly a year, were having late-night trysts because they are banned from sharing a bedroom.
But Emily, 18, revealed she hopes their bonking ban while in the show’s £3.6million mansion will improve their relationship.
She said: “Me and Ryan are 100% focused on the music right now. We’ll put music first and grab that career, we want to make sure we’re stable, we’ve got money and that kind of stuff.

“To be honest we don’t see each other a lot at the moment and when we do everyone is around us watching a movie or something.
“Maybe five minutes before bed we’ll have a chat about what we’ve done or if we’re feeling bad about anything. So it’s hard to do anything with each other. I guess it makes us stronger.”
The lovebirds, who share droves of romantic snaps on social media, were lectured on safe sex by show bosses when they arrived in the house.
They later positioned a security guard to stop them carrying out further romps in communal areas at night. Emily joked that they have even bonded with the bouncer as they try to bend the rules.

Ryan, 20, has told The Sun his relationship with Emily “fastforwarded” since they moved in to the mansion.
Emily added: “He knows me inside out. I’d be a little bit lost if I didn’t have him.”
