Who is Ola Jordan and how old is she?
OLA Jordan and her husband James Jordan have become reality TV regulars over the years.
The couple are now stripping off for charity on ITV’s Strictly The Full Monty.
Who is Ola Jordan?
Ola was born Aleksandra Grabowska on September 30, 1982 in Legionowo, Poland and began her dancing career at the age of 12.
In 1999 she won Poland’s Open Dance Championships and went on to come twelfth in the following year’s World Championships.
Following that success she moved from her homeland to Britain.
She married fellow dancer James Jordan in 2003 three years after their first recorded dance together in the Dutch Open in 2000.
The couple moved to Hong Kong to teach Latin American dancing for a time before returning to competitive boogieing again in 2005.
The following year the duo came second in the Blackpool Professional Rising Stars Latin event in May and then in November of that year came third in the British Championships in the same discipline.
How long was Ola on Strictly Come Dancing and why did she leave?
Ola first appeared on Strictly in the reality show’s fourth season in 2006 when she partnered DJ Spoony.
The pair were hoofed off the show in the third week.
She would go on to win the competition in its seventh season when she partnered journalist Chris Hollins.
Last year she was part of the first couple to be booted of the show when she partnered Olympian Iwan Thomas.
Following her exit she announced that it was her final series and sensationally left the show claiming it was fixed.
Does Ola have any children?’
Ola shares one child with husband James.
Their daughter was born in February 2020 after a three-year IVF battle.
Sharing the new son Instagram, the couple wrote: “She’s here and she is perfect.”
What other shows has Ola Jordan been on?
The blonde bombshell has featured on a number of other TV shows since she came into the public consciousness.
She featured on the celebrity version of Total Wipeout in 2009 and the following year took part in a celebrity version of Bargain hunt with Strictly judge Len Goodman.
Ola appeared with her husband James on All Star Mr and Mrs in 2013 where they won the competition and also both appeared on Through the Keyhole in September 2015.
In 2014 she was supposed to take part in Channel 4 snow sports show The Jump but fell and injured herself during training.
In the fall she to a ligament in her knee and had to go under the knife to have it fixed.
The injury forced her out of The Jump and also prevented her from participating in the 12th season of Strictly Come Dancing’s finale.
The Polish dancer also set pulses racing each time she got under the famous shower in the 2016 edition of I’m a Celebrity.
