Scarlett Moffatt QUITS Gogglebox for I’m A Celebrity and Channel 4 hint she may never return
SCARLETT Moffatt has quit Gogglebox for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Channel 4 confirmed the news to The Sun Online and hinted she may never go back on the show – which she joined with her parents Mark and Betty in 2014.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed the news and said: “Scarlett Moffatt is going in to I’m a Celebrity and will no longer participate in this series of Gogglebox.
“The show’s producers have not had any conversations with Scarlett about leaving or returning to Gogglebox after her stint in the Jungle.
“The Moffatts have been excellent contributors to Gogglebox, and we are very grateful for all they have given to the show.”
On Sunday evening, Scarlett touched down in Australia for the start of the show on 13 November.
Former Gogglebox star George Gilbey was forced to quit when he took part in Celebrity Big Brother 2014.
Producer Chantal Boyle said at the time: “They are pretty cash-strapped and so you can see why they would accept the offer to go on Big Brother.
“But we can’t have them in the new series of Gogglebox.”
She also said it “wouldn’t work” for George to come back to the show after he had appeared on Channel 5.

She leaves behind her boyfriend Luke Crodden in order to complete her stint in the jungle - and gushed about missing her "ginger biscuit" after spending just a week apart in October.
