'I don’t know how I'll cope'

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestants speak of Jungle fears ahead of their first night

THINGS are starting to get serious for the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here contestants as the not-so glamorous shots of the stars are revealed.

Ditching their usual red carpet style for hiking boots and khakis, the likes of Ola Jordan, Lisa Snowdon, Scarlett Moffatt, Sam Quek and Carol Vorderman appear ready for their first night in the Australian bush.

But the glam has now been ditched for the camp's staple uniform
OLA JORDAN: 'Now I am doing it, I don’t know how I will cope. I am going to embrace the experience, though, and of course I will be packing some bikinis. You’ve got to, haven’t you?'
Ola is a former Strictly Come Dancing favourite
ADAM THOMAS: 'I am scared pretty much of everything, especially spiders. It’s why I went to get hypnotised the other day. I’ve had two sessions but I’m still scared of spiders'

And there's no need for a dapper suit and tie where these guys are going - as contestants Wayne Bridge, Jordan Banjo, Joel Dommett, Larry Lamb and Adam Thomas model the camp's official uniform.

But noticeably missing from the glossy shots are Homes Under the Hammer host Martin Roberts and broadcasting legend Danny Baker.

The two were among the names announced in The Sun's official line-up for the ITV show - so just what could sneaky producers have planned for the pair?

Could Martin and Danny be subject to one of the programme's legendary twists?

During last year's series the unassuming celebrities were divided into two separate camps before reality stars Ferne McCann, Vicky Pattison and Spencer Matthews arrived by private helicopter.

Touching down in a secret location away from the main camp the trio were left to their own devices.

JOEL DOMMETT: 'It will be a good opportunity for people to get to know who I am. Hopefully I will come across in a nice way and they will think, ‘Aww he is nice, I want to marry him'

SCARLETT MOFFATT: 'Eating testicles? I’ve been preparing by eating really chewy Scotch eggs and pretending they’re kangaroo balls. It will be weird seeing what the others on Gogglebox think about me'
LISA SNOWDON: 'I want to step outside my comfort zone. I am also curious to see what the food will be like. A kangaroo anus is all furry and gross but curiosity has got the better of me!'

SAM QUEK: 'I absolutely hate cockroaches, spiders and anything small, to the point I will cry. This is a huge opportunity to get over that fear'

For one night Ferne, Vicky and Spencer were seen joining forces to work out how to light a camp fire.

While in 2014, Towie's Gemma Collins was left in tears as she suffered a meltdown when viewers voted her into the Celebrity Slammer alongside Carl Fogarty, Vicki Michelle, Craig Charles and Nadia Forde.
