Retired footie ace Wayne Bridge ready to speak out on I’m A Celebrity over ex Vanessa Perroncel’s alleged affair with John Terry
FORMER footballer Wayne Bridge is ready to open up on I’m A Celebrity over his ex’s alleged affair with old team-mate John Terry.
The retired ace, 36, has never publicly spoken about the relationship between then England skipper Terry and model Vanessa Perroncel.
But he is now expected to break his silence on the ITV reality show.
Ex-Chelsea left-back Wayne humiliated former best pal Terry, 35, by refusing a pre-match handshake on his return as a Manchester City player in 2010.
The snub came as they lined up against each other for the first time after revelations of Terry’s dalliance with Vanessa, with whom Wayne has a nine-year-old son.
Ahead of entering the Australian jungle this weekend, Wayne said: “This whole thing is so different for me. I have never really put myself out there publicly before.

“People either say that I am famous for playing football or some might say I am famous for not shaking someone’s hand but I would like people to get to know me for who I am.”
Wayne, now married to Saturdays singer Frankie, 27, retired in 2014 after a glittering career, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and playing 36 times for England.
But it was all overshadowed by Terry’s alleged misbehaviour.
Following the scandal, Wayne quit international football before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa when the pair would have been in the England squad together.
He said his place in the squad was “untenable and potentially divisive”. Married Terry was stripped of the England captaincy.
This year’s initial ten I’m A Celebrity contestants were either in Australia or on their way there last night ahead of going into the jungle camp this weekend.
Danny Baker, who tweeted a topsy-turvy selfie, will be a late arrival Down Under with Martin Roberts.
Hosts Ant and Dec will start the fun and games on ITV this Sunday at 9pm.
