Brad Pitt puts on a brave face with Julia Roberts as he makes first public appearance since shock split from Angelina Jolie

BRAD Pitt put on a brave face as he stepped out in public for the first time since his shock split from Angelina Jolie.
The Hollywood actor appeared to be showing the strain of his divorce as he joined fellow Hollywood veteran Julia Roberts at a screening of new movie Moonlight.
Brad, 52, wore a casual outfit of checked shirt and overcoat for the private screening of the film, which he produced for his Plan B production company.
He kept a smile on his face, but looked thin and strained at the private event.
Brad was joined by his longtime friend Julia, who appeared onscreen with him in 2001 drama The Mexican.
The Pretty Woman star also opted for a casual look, wearing a think black sweater and glasses as she supported Brad.
The outing marks Brad's return to the spotlight since his wife Angelina filed for divorce in September.
He is just hours away from making his big red carpet comeback tonight when he is scheduled to attend the premiere of his new war drama Allied.
He stars in the movie opposite Marion Cotillard and is slated to appear alongside her at the glitzy film screening in Los Angeles tonight.
Brad previously pulled out of press commitments for the movie, but has yet to confirm whether he plans to skip the big screening.
