PHILLIP Schofield burst into fits of uncontrollable laughter as he accused Holly Willoughby of passing wind live on air.
The pair brought proceedings on This Morning to a halt when Holly stopped mid-sentence while welcoming viewers back to the ITV show, after a strange noise could be heard in the background.
But as Holly, 35, identified a toy puppy as the source of the sound, Phil broke down with laughter after giving his co-host a strange look.
He admitted: "I swear to God it just went [makes noise] and I thought it was you and i thought, not only has she just done that, she also stopped!"
As the cute toy continued to make the noise, despite Holly's attempts to turn it off, the pair had tears in their eyes as they tried to continue the segment on top toys for Christmas.
And their antics had viewers happily sharing the joke.
One tweeted: "Seriously these two @Schofe @hollywills you make my day everyday! #ThisMorning #Turnitoff"
Another added: "Crying at @Schofe & @hollywills keeping me sane in between a very grouchy baby today! #ThisMorning"
"I love it when Holly and Phillip have a laughing fit," said one.
