Heartbreak for Sam Fox as her sister Vanessa dies aged 50 after being rushed to hospital following heart attack
PAGE 3 legend Sam Fox was devastated last night after her younger sister died following a heart attack.
Mum-of-four Vanessa, 50, passed away on Saturday – nine days after she collapsed at her home.
She was rushed from her home in Enfield, North London, to St Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City, where she was placed in a coma.
Insiders said Sam visited Vanessa daily before she died on Saturday afternoon, and she is “beside herself”.
Vanessa was understood to be the Page Three favourite's only full sister.
It is the latest heartache for model and pop star Sam, 56 – who first appeared in The Sun 40 years ago – coming eight years after her long-term partner Myra Stratton died of cancer.

Ahead of her 2017 autobiography Forever, Sam told how Vanessa saved her after their alcoholic dad Pat attacked her.
She said: “I thought he was going to kill me and begged him to stop. When I tried to get up he kicked me so hard in the stomach it winded me and he wouldn’t stop.
“My sister Vanessa heard what was going on and jumped on his back to get him off me.”
Sam’s rep last night told The Sun: “Sam would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses for their care and support.

“Sam and her family respectfully ask for privacy at this difficult time.”
Photos from decades ago show the pair arm-in-arm before they jetted off on holiday.
The sisters are standing at Heathrow Airport beaming before they boarded a flight to Portugal.

Vanessa's death comes after years of heartache for the 56-year-old.
In 2015 the model, actress and singer's partner Myra Stratton tragically lost her battle with cancer.
The pair had been together for 16 years, and Sam once said: "People say I'm gay....I don't know what I am.
"All I know is that I'm in love with Myra.
"I love her completely and want to spend the rest of my life with her."
The following year Sam entered Celebrity Big Brother "in memory of Myra".
And the same year Sam met her new lover Linda Birgitte Olsen, who is a Norwegian mum-of-two.
She exclusively told The Sun she was "very happy" with Linda, sharing photos of them beaming.
In 2017, Sam reiterated her happiness.
She told GMB: "I'm at a really good place now I must admit.
"The last few years have been difficult with my partner dying and suffering from cancer."
Then last year Sam revealed she had her own cancer scare.
The singer broke down in tears as she explained she had discovered a lump in her throat.
Sam said: “I was in shock. My fiancée Linda was with me, and broke down in tears.
