Prince Harry takes things with girlfriend Meghan Markle to the next level as she spends night at Kensington Palace and gets set to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton
PRINCE Harry’s new girlfriend Meghan Markle stayed with him at Kensington Palace overnight, as she prepares to meet Prince William and Kate for the first time.
The star took a break from filming her hit US TV show Suits to fly into London on Tuesday and was yesterday spotted filling up two bulging bags at the organic Whole Foods store on Kensington High Street.
Meghan, who plays Rachel in the drama Suits, was spotted returning from her shopping trip to the palace yesterday - amid reports that she and Prince Harry were desperate to see each other.
And it looks like the pair are about to take things to the next level as Harry plans to introduce her to his brother Prince William and wife Kate Middleton - who will be staying at the Palace this weekend for the Cenotaph memorial service.
Keeping a brown baseball cap pulled down over her face, the actress was spotted wearing her distinctive beaded bracelet that matches one worn by Harry.
Harry will begin a Caribbean tour on behalf of the Queen on November 20 so will be unable to see her for two weeks.
But the pair were so keen to meet up that the US actress, 35, flew to London from Canada.
Meghan told the legal drama’s studio chiefs she had “something important to do” and needed time out, although filming won't finish for the Christmas break next Thursday.
A source said: “Meghan was desperate to see Harry but they still want to keep their relationship under wraps as much as possible.
“She’s staying at Kensington Palace with him. He can’t see her when he’s in the Caribbean as he’s representing his grandmother and it wouldn’t be appropriate.
“So now is the obvious time. It also means she can meet William and Kate who are staying at the palace this weekend.”
The stay is one of the strongest indications of how serious the couple's relationship is.
The loved-up Meghan follows in the footsteps of other royals who have strolled down Kensington High Street to shop.
Some reports have claimed that Meghan took a break from her busy filming schedule to meet with her lawyers after news of the couple's relationship broke.
Prince Harry has previously been spotted on the shopping strip, while the Duchess of Cambridge has also been sighted browsing the stores near Kensington Palace.
The sighting comes after Harry, 32, who will meet Rihanna on his royal tour, released a statement on Tuesday confirming he had been dating Meghan “for months”.
They met through mutual friends in London in June and have had a series of dates on both sides of the Atlantic since August.
