Gary may have told David he doesn’t blame him for what happened to Anna, but that was before he knew the truth about the accident.
Everything changes when, after confessing their love for each other, Sarah lets slip that her brother was on a mission to kill Clayton when he crashed the car and injured Gary’s mum.
Reeling from the revelation, Gary storms round to the salon and lets rip at David, telling him that Anna can barely walk because of him.
Despite Sarah’s best attempts to calm the situation, Gary’s temper rears its ugly head and he lamps the hairdresser, leaving him with a black eye.
As a result, Sarah comes clean to Gail, who thinks her daughter’s romance is heading for disaster.
And it looks like Gail might be right as Gary refuses to assure Sarah that he won’t take the matter further. Will Gary choose vengeance over his relationship?

Phelan kills Michael?
Michael has had Phelan’s card marked from the get-go – and after hearing him on the phone to Vinny discussing his plan to flee to Mexico, he decides to confront the crook and warns him he won’t let him take Eileen to the cleaners.
Eileen is starting to grow suspicious herself, as her fella freaks out when she picks up his rucksack containing his plane ticket – and Michael later tells her about the conversation he overheard.
Phelan talks his way out of things yet again, but the game’s up when Faye nicks the fraudster’s phone and Anna winds up listening to a voicemail that confirms the scam.
Seizing his opportunity to expose his enemy, Michael breaks into the building site and finds a fake passport and a ticket to Mexico – only to see Phelan standing over him.
Michael throws a chair at the menacing baddie, knocking him to the floor. But as Michael attempts to escape, Phelan has murder in mind…
Barlows Reunited
The Barlow boys really are like buses. You wait ages for one to come along and then, before you know it, three turn up at once.
Hot on the heels of Peter’s return, Ken’s grandson Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) arrives on the cobbles, zooming into town in a fancy Jaguar and ruffling feathers by marching straight into Underworld and helping himself to some whisky.
Johnny and Aidan are appalled to find the stranger in their office, but Adam’s dad – the late, great Mike Baldwin – did used to own the factory.
Needless to say, Tracy can smell money, and she’s impressed by her nephew’s hot wheels and cocky behaviour as he drives her and Peter to visit Ken in hospital.
The trio are shocked, however, when they arrive on the ward and are told Ken doesn’t want to see them at the moment.
Refusing to listen, Tracy bursts into his room anyway and is stunned to find a mystery man sitting at the recovering Weatherfield stalwart’s bedside.
But that’s nothing compared to how speechless Tracy, Adam and Peter are when Ken introduces his visitor as Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), his estranged son from his relationship with hairdresser Denise.
Naturally, Tracy initially resents Daniel’s presence, but the Barlow clan make an attempt to bond over a meal at the Bistro.
And when Adam takes an instant dislike to Tracy’s ex Robert, she’s thrilled to have a family member in her corner.
But when the difficult issue of caring for Ken once he returns home comes up, will the new boys agree to stick around?
