Danniella Westbrook sports new brunette hair style and a plaster under her nose as she battles the makers of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies
Actress is suing the TV bosses for £750k over her dodgy dental implants
DANNIELLA Westbrook has been seen sporting a new brunette hair style and a plaster under her nose as she continues the legal fight over the dental implants that left her with blood poisoning.
The Sun Online has exclusively revealed the actress is suing the makers of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies for £750,000 after procedure she underwent on the show.
The former EastEnders star, 43, appeared on the programme earlier this year for a new boob job and treatment on her teeth - although it's likely she now wishes she hadn't.
While getting her hair dyed in Liverpool earlier this week, she declared that she is preparing to take legal action against the makers of the Channel 5 programeme, which can attract over one million viewers.
She said: "I'm suing the makers of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies for £750,000 to cover lost earnings."
On the show, viewers watched Danniella explain that a car crash had ruined her smile and left her relying on dentures before begging a dentist to remove her remaining upper teeth.
She wanted him to replace them with implants – although he was uncertain it was a good idea.
He explained that he doubted that her bones were strong enough to support the metal gnashers long term, and added that he didn't think that her gums – diseased from a twenty-a-day smoking habit – would be able to cope.
She told him: “I personally would like you to take the whole lot out and have a perfect smile", adding that she won’t “smoke them out”.
Danniella added: “I’ve had sleepless nights and crying about the state my teeth are in.
“Sometimes you want to go out for dinner and have a great big bit of steak but I can’t do that – I’ll probably bite in to it and [the implant] will be stuck in the meat.”
The op went ahead, although at the end of the programme it was revealed that Danniella was unhappy with the results, telling producers that she wanted to see another expert as they didn't feel right.
Days after the episode was aired in January, Danniella was forced to seek urgent medical attention while in the Celebrity Big Brother house as her implants began to cause her unspeakable pain.
Her trip out of the CBB compound was never hinted at on screen, but Danniella herself let the cat out of the bag when she told journalists at a fake press conference that she had been hurried out to see a medic.
Referring to a row with housemate Stephanie Davis in which she threatened to urinate over her bed and belongings after the ex-Hollyoaks star hid a shoe under her pillow, the mum-of-two explained why she had got so incredibly angry.
She said: “I’d just been out to have my veneers done when that happened. I was worried about infection.
“I bet you didn’t see that.”
The pain continued, and eight months later, Danniella was fighting for her life in hospital with septicaemia.
But now it looks like she's ready to bite back.
Danniella has experienced nothing but bad luck since appearing on the show.
A return to EastEnders was short lived, with her character Sam Mitchell only making a brief return for her mum Peggy's funeral and to dump her son Richard with his biological dad Jack Branning.
She also faced personal problems, being hounded by sick trolls who hacked her social media accounts to falsely claim that she had suffered a relapse and was back taking cocaine.
Fuelling fans' fears was the sudden addition of a small bandage beneath her nose.
While many believed that this was evidence that her nose had begun to collapse again under the strain of constant drug snorting, it was in fact evidence of her infected teeth slowly destroying her face.
Danniella was also seen holding bags of ice to her face as she ran errands, supported by her rapper son Kai.
There was further heartache when she split with her toyboy lover George Arnold, 23, just weeks after the pair were spotted shopping for engagement rings.
The pair reunited, only to break up again, despite sharing scores of happy memories from both home and abroad.
But throughout all her ups and downs, one thing has remained constant - the excruciating pain of her teeth.

A spokesperson for Danniella told The Sun online: "Contrary to any speculation the injury to Daniella Westbrook is caused by the side effects of surgery and is the subject of clinical negligence litigation.
"She has instructed solicitors to pursue a claim for damages. As a health matter we would ask that you respect her privacy."
