HIGH EXPECTATIONS

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s Ola Jordan looks terrified during helicopter ride into camp

THERE was a mixed reaction from some of the celebrities treated to a helicopter ride into the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp on Sunday night.

While pilot Carol Vorderman was in her element, former Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan looked like she wanted to be back home in Blighty.

Joining them in the sky was comedian Joel Dommett, Corrie’s Adam Thomas and Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo.

Jordan and Joel were in their element like Carol, with Joel whooping and cheering as they took off.

Not everyone on the show is fan of heights however, with footballer Wayne Bridge being told he was going to skydive into the camp – much to his horror.

Wayne, 36, was joined by Lisa Snowdon and Sam Quek at 10,000 foot and the trio were challenged to release a flare closest to 60 seconds after jumping out of the plane.

Former England star Wayne was petrified, admitting: “I’m all over the place to be honest.

“My stomach is just turning. I don’t know what will be going through my head but I’ll go into a happy place hopefully.”

Lisa was more relaxed however, saying once she’d landed: “That was terrific!

“It was a brilliant way to start this whole experience.”

Once their ordeal was over and they arrived in camp, Wayne headed straight into the shower to cool off.

Alongside Joel and Adam, Wayne jumped straight into the showers before heading into the pool.

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt wasn’t so keen once she’d landed but tried to keep a brave face on the situation.

She said: “I’ve got to look at the positive otherwise I’ll start crying.

“It’s a detox. It will help our skin and hair.”

The Geordie Star is already one of the favourites to win this year’s show and be crowned jungle queen.
