STRICTLY Come Dancing paid a moving tribute to the late singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen on tonight's results show.

The Canadian singer-songwriter died at the age of 82 last week.

Best known for his song ‘Hallelujah’, the novelist and poet’s death has been met with an outpouring of grief.

The BBC One show decided to give him a fitting tribute by having André Rieu's orchestra perform his famous song, which has been covered by a number of artists including Alexandra Burke, Bon Jovi and Jeff Buckley.

Professional dancers Brendan Cole and Natalie Lowe danced a Viennese Waltz to the song.
