X Factor’s Honey G tweets fans for votes during two minute silence on Remembrance Day
The North Wheezy rapper asked fans to get her to show finals during the national moment of reflection
RAPPER Honey G appeared to be more concerned about getting through to next week’s live shows on The X Factor that conforming to the two minute silence for Remembrance Day.
The controversial contestant begged fans for votes one minute into the national moment of reflection.
As the clock hit 11:01 am – one minute into the nationally observed silence – Honey wrote to her fans on Twitter.
She tweeted: “Get Voting For Honey G to go all the way through to The X Factor final.”
At the same time, the country had stood still as a mark of respect to those servicemen and women who fought for the United Kingdom.
It seemed the 35-year-old, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, quickly realised her mistake however as she later deleted her tweet.
The rapper has already come under fire this week for admitting she's taken Class A drugs.
An hour later, Honey re-posted the tweet and continued to badger fans for support throughout the day.

During Saturday night’s show, Honey got another standing ovation from The X Factor audience leaving her critics seething.
One tweeted: “#XFactor standing ovation for honeyG?? What's wrong with the judges!!"
A fan agreed: Seriously don't understand why Honey G gets a standing ovation from the judges yet they slate acts that can actually sing #XFactor."
One was incredulous: “A standing ovation for Honey G, is this for real!? #XFactor."
A fan didn't get it: “Am I missing something with this Honey G rubbish? Standing Ovation? #XFactor."
Another complained: “Simon, Louis, Nicole and Sharon compliment Honey G but criticise everyone else Lol."
Honey's defied her critics since the start of the live shows and has a fan in her mentor Sharon Osbourne, who promised to launch her rapping career if she failed to win the show.
