Angry Strictly Come Dancing fans kick off over Daisy Lowe’s departure… while Ed Balls heads to Blackpool
Judges chose to save Greg Rutherford over the model in Sunday nights dance-off while Ed sailed through to the next round
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were left raging on Sunday night after Daisy Lowe was voted off the show.
The model lost in the dance-off against Greg Rutherford, but viewers were more angry over the fact former Labour Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls had managed to evade the bottom two once again.
The 49-year-old was bottom of the leader board with 25 points after dancing a memorable salsa to Gangnam Style with his partner Katya Jones, but was saved by viewers votes.
However, others were not impressed that he will get the chance to dance at the Blackpool extravaganza next week while Daisy, 27, has to watch from home.
One Twitter user even compared him to controversial X Factor contestant Honey G, writing: "Ed Balls is the Honey G of Strictly".
Many feel the rapper doesn't deserve her place on the ITV rival show, and it seems a lot of Strictly fans feel the same about Ed.
Another wrote: "Ed Balls makes me laugh lots and he's so much fun but it's not fair Daisy is gone while he remains #Strictly" while a third said: "Please, Ed Balls through and Daisy out, really?"
