I was on Towie and saw stars make up drama just to get airtime and paid, says Georgia Harrison
GEORGIA Harrison has revealed that Towie's stars often find themselves in the middle of drama deliberately - because if they're not, they're not getting paid.
The and Towie star, who has recently broken new ground after winning her revenge porn case against ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear, has opened up about her life on reality TV and some of the gritty truths behind it.
Towie is known for its iconic clashes and stand out moments, but Georgia has revealed a lot of the time the cast fear for their place on the series if nothing dramatic is going on.
“The reason there is so much drama and it is so intense is because of the dynamic of the show," she . "If you’re filming, it’s because you’re having some form of drama, and if you’re not filming, then you’re worried that you’re going to get the sack.
"Say it’s been like three weeks of filming and you’ve only been invited to the group things and you haven’t had much of a storyline, you think, 'one: I’m not getting paid as much because I’m not filming as much and two: I’m just a bit of a spare part', maybe I should be doing more'.
"I think that’s what causes so much drama because you’re left with a group of people who, to get ahead in their career, need to be in the thick of the drama.”

Over the past two-and-a-half years, Georgia has been waging war against Stephen Bear after he posted footage online of the couple having sex in his garden.
The footage, taken from CCTV, was done without Georgia's permission.
Bear, who earned £40,000 from selling their CCTV footage of them having sex in his garden was jailed 21 months at Chelmsford Crown Court in Essex.
He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years and was slapped with a five-year restraining order banning him from contacting Georgia.
Prior to the trial, Bear appeared unrepentent for his actions, even mocking the case by dancing in an orange prisoners uniform, and renting out a Rolls Royce to turn up to the court in a fur coat and cane.
Georgia is now planning to sue him for damages as the effects of the case had a detrimental affect on her career.
