PETER Andre was left "petrified" after a terrifying clash with a Japanese mafia boss in a bar.
The singer, 50, revealed he was having a drink in Tokyo when he was confronted by the Yakuza member.
Andre, who was living in Japan at the time, was berated by the mob boss during the "dangerous" run-in.
He told : "On this particular night, this man just started yelling at me really aggressively and it turned out he was a member of the Japanese mafia, the yakuza.
"I had no idea what he was saying but apparently it was a demonstration of his authority.

The Yakuza are known for their elaborate full-body tattoos and lopped-off little fingers.
They control the seedy criminal underworld of Japan with mass murder, organ trafficking and run the country's sex trade.
The organised crime syndicate, which has around 35,000 members, also carries out ruthless illegal business dealings in drugs and firearms.
Their most notorious leader Kazuo Taoka was nicknamed 'The Bear', as he had a penchant for clawing at his opponent's eyes.

Andre also opened up about his travels elsewhere in the world - including when he toured with the Backstreet Boys for a year.
He revealed how the group ended up in a naked sauna in Germany as they tried to unwind after a show.
The star, who is married to doctor Emily MacDonagh, said: "We turned up in our towels and soon realised that everyone else was naked, which we weren’t too keen on.
"It was a mixed sauna too, so we were just sitting there surrounded by all these naked men and women.
"We all just looked at each other giggling."
