CHERYL is clearly putting work on the backburner.
Nearly 12 months since the Geordie left the X Factor, she’s now cut ties with another influential force which has guided her career.
I can reveal Cheryl has parted company with Modest Management after her contract expired earlier this year.
Her decision is further evidence the singer is set for a new start because as well as leaving X Factor, she’s settled down with ONE DIRECTION star LIAM PAYNE and, as I revealed earlier this year, has plans to start a family - imminently.
Something tells me she’ll be spending plenty of nights in during her break from the industry.
A source said: “Cheryl’s left on good terms with Modest, there’s been no fallout at all.
“She currently has no management but that will change next year when she’s planning on making her chart return.
“Cheryl has grown as an artist and wants to return with a fresh look, sound and image - which will be reflected by her new management.”
Modest Management helped turn ONE DIRECTION into global superstars and currently have acts including LITTLE MIX, OLLY MURS and FIVE SECONDS OF SUMMER on their books.
The former Girls Aloud singer marks 15 years in the industry next year after exploding on the scene with GIRLS ALOUD on ITV show Pop Stars: The Rivals.
She’s already recorded new tracks for her fifth solo album which she hopes to release towards the end of 2017.
The charts have certainly missed her.
