Grand Designs star urinated on British Airways passenger and his child’s teddy bear in drunken rampage on packed plane
A GRAND Designs star drunkenly got his genitalia out and peed on a passenger during a British Airways flight.
Adam Purchase, 54, damaged passenger Thomas Homphrey’s shoes and socks with his pee, as well as his child’s teddy bear and drinks bottle.

The seats and carpet of the plane were also damaged to £1,001 after he began “urinating liberally” on January’s eight-hour BA flight from Barbados to Heathrow.
Purchase, who was drinking throughout, was travelling with his two sons, aged ten and eight. Mr Homphrey was sat behind with his wife and child.
Ms Ashleigh Ettiene, prosecuting, told Uxbridge magistrates’ court this morning: "Mr Purchase became drunk and incoherent."
She added: "At 11pm the complainant Mr Homphrey was awoken by his wife shouting 'oh my God he's peeing everywhere'.

"Urine was splashing on his legs and feet. Mr Purchase had his genitalia out and was urinating.
“It was a packed aircraft. There were children present, including his own.
“Mr Purchase has been described as being drunk and urinating liberally, coming across as reckless and causing damage to the aircraft.”
Part-time builder Purchase had been in Barbados visiting a friend whose wife had been in intensive care.

He had had little sleep in the three days before the flight and has been going through a divorce, Bawita Dhanda, defending, said.
There was a delay at the airport so he had lunch with his sons, when he drank two rum and ginger ales.
He then remembers having two small bottles of wine in the plane and has no recollection beyond then other than being woken up when they landed.
Ms Dhanda said: “Mr Purchase is ashamed and extremely remorseful.”
He admitted drunkenly entering an aircraft and causing damage of £1,001.
He was released on unconditional bail and sent to Isleworth crown court to be sentenced next month.
Chair of the bench Mr Zubair told Purchase: "An aircraft is a confined place up in the air, occupied by all ranges of people from small children or elderly people.
"You were so drunk that you have no recollection of standing up, exposing your genitals and urinating all over the seats and another passenger.”
