Little Mix stars snap during ‘brutal’ interview as they are asked about Jesy Nelson’s missing engagement ring
The couple sparked split rumours when Jesy unfollowed Jake on Instagram and she was pictured in Australia without her engagement ring
LITTLE Mix's Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall snapped during a 'brutal' interview after being asked why bandmate Jesy Nelson hasn't been wearing her engagement ring.
Jesy sparked rumours she had split from fiance Jake Roche when she unfollowed him on Instagram and was then pictured in Australia without the ring.
However, Perrie and Jade lost their cool when radio hosts Fitzy & Wippa quizzed them about Jesy's relationship status.
After asking the girls a few questions about their latest hit Shout Out To My Ex, they then asked why Jesy hasn't been wearing her ring and it's safe to say they were not impressed.
Jade was visibly shocked and said: "That's brutal that!" before Perrie added: "That's brutal, you just came out with that."
Quick as a flash, Jade grabbed their notes, crumpled them up and threw them at the camera.
Perrie then added: "Next question, sir. What are you going to do without your paper now smart a**e?!"
Neither Jesy, 25, or Rixton's Jake, 24, have commented on the status of their relationship, but fans began to question whether the pair were over when Jesy unfollowed Jake on Instagram last Tuesday.
The singer was then spotted on a night out in London sans ring, but seemed to offer a very 21st-century olive branch when she liked one of his Instgram pictures on Friday.
The couple have been dating for two years after meeting through friends and got engaged last year with the help of Ed Sheeran – and now fans are heartbroken at the prospect they may have broken up.

But Jade and Perrie's antics are nothing new as the band have stormed out of interviews on THREE different occasions.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock left a radio interview at Capital FM in October after being quizzed about her ex-boyfriends following the release of Shout Out To My Ex.
Back in July 2015, the group were having a rather chilly interview with CBBC interviewer Harvey Cantwell, 17.
Little Mix were being interviewed on show Digital Downloads when Harvey appeared to pose a rather awkward question.
He remarked on the fact that Jesy Nelson wore "a lot of hats", which she agreed that she did.
Harvey then said that "Jake from Rixton" (aka Jesy's fiance and Colleen Nolan's son) also enjoyed putting on hats.
The young presenter asked whether they had "his-and-hers hats".
Jesy glanced at her bandmates as Leigh-Anne said: "Oh come on Harvey!"
She then demanded whether he had "a problem" with her wearing hats.
Harvey then flushed pink and seemed slightly panicked as he exclaimed: "No, I like your hats!"
The 25-year-old singer responded: "I've got my own style and I don't just copy my boyfriend."
He replied: "No, I said I liked your hats!"
She then told them that she was "not doing this" before getting up and storming off.
Leigh-Anne then took off after her and told him that it was "really harsh" of him.
Harvey looked utterly bemused as Jade Thirwall asked them to stop filming as they claimed that Jesy was crying.
He was stunned into silence as Perrie Edwards explained that it was "because she has her own style".
But then they surprised him after they walked back and laughed.
Poor Harvey looked relieved as he hugged Jesy while she apologised to him over and over again.
Little Mix decided that this was too good a prank to only do once.
They repeated it when they appeared on Aussie radio station KIIS a few months later in October that year and left one of its hosts in tears.
Presenter Jackie O had asked whether the girls had been asked a lot about Justin Bieber.
This propelled Jade sulkily responding that she didn't know why they'd brought it up again.
Astonished, Jackie O said: "I wasn't even told that..."
Without much warning, Jade stands up and storms out of the room as Leigh-Anne explains that there's "an issue going on at the moment".
The presenter then asks in utter bemusement: "What just happened?"
Jade exclaimed that she thought they'd "told them not to talk about it".
Meanwhile Jackie O shrugged but clearly looked upset.
The X Factor group then ran back in yelling and revealing that it was all just a joke.
But they then realised that the presenter was crying and Jade hugged her.
Jackie O said, relieved: "I just didn't want to p**s you off!"
