SIR Cliff Richard has revealed he’s planning to go under the knife with his good friend Gloria Hunniford.
The singer made the admission on Tuesday’s Loose Women – with Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Linda Robson all keen to join in.
Gesturing to Gloria, Cliff said: “We’re going to get a facelift together.”
As the rest of the panel said they wanted in, he joked: “I could get a job lot,” before adding: “But you girls don’t need it!”
Asked why he wanted surgery, Cliff said: “I’ve been looking in the mirror, I am ageing from myself, I only want a little bit done – a huge tuck up here…”
“I have six lines, I only want three!”
Viewers of the show think the singer should be focussing on his hair however as some pointed out his “badly made hairpiece”.
One tweeted: “Don't understand how these people have so much money but can't get a decent hairpiece!”
Another wrote: “Nice Syrup Luv!”
A third, confused viewer wrote: “Wtf has he got on his head?!”
Cliff also gave an impromptu concert during the show, wowing the audience with some of his classic songs.
Alongside the lighthearted chat, Cliff, who was cleared after a two-year probe into child abuse allegations, also opened up about the effect the accusations have had on his life.
He said: “It was horrific, I didn’t sleep for more than three hours a night.
“It wasn’t a block, it was three hours of broken sleep.”
Despite clearing his name, Cliff has been left so traumatised by the accusations he's now unable to hug fans.
He told Lorraine Kelly last week: “I try not to touch people too much - I'm a little bit wary.
“It's happened two or three times when people bring children, their daughters and sons.
“I don't know how to deal with this photograph situation, where normally you would hug them.”
He also spoke candidly about the “absurd” claims and revealed the emotional impact it has had on him.
Sir Cliff said: “It's a horrifying, traumatically emotional situation that you find yourself in and you somehow feel that you don't know how to get out of it.”
The Mistletoe and Wine singer later added: “It's in the past and now I'm looking to the future, it's really nice. Okay, I may never get over it but I can definitely get past it and move on.”
He also spoke about feeling “closer” to God during the paedophile claims and said that it was because of "Him" that was able to forgive his “first accuser on the second night.
Yesterday Cliff courted controversy after appearing on The One Show and insisting that his relationship with the BBC is “fine” – despite his £1.5 million lawsuit against the Corporation.
He is claiming aggravated damages and says the BBC acted unlawfully, with The Sun revealing how the 76-year-old had said in a High Court writ the Beeb struck a deal with South Yorkshire cops to broadcast a raid on his home, leaving him “violated”.
“And some people watching the show will be thinking how come he’s on the sofa? So what is your relationship with the BBC like at the minute?”
Cliff looked around the studio -which was filled with his fans – and replied: “I’m here, the BBC to me is The One Show, the radio shows I listen to.
“I listen to it all over the world, the Today programme, The Archers, when I can catch up with it.
“My relationship with the BBC is fine.”
