I’m A Celebrity brainbox Carol Vorderman heads for a fumble in the Jungle with Joel Dommett after outrageous flirting over tree branch with ‘sturdy shaft’
TOYBOY-loving Carol Vorderman and comedian Joel Dommett are heading for a fumble in the jungle after shocking campmates with their outrageous flirting.
Viewers saw twice-divorced former Countdown star Carol, 55, who is known for her love of a younger man, bond with the 30-year-old funnyman over their passion for maths on Monday night’s I’m a Celebrity.
And in footage not shown on the main ITV show, the pair cracked a series of innuendos over a tree branch the comic has fashioned into a walking stick.
Carol asked him: “When was the last time you had a good stick? Is anyone allowed to touch this stick, Joel?”
Laughter then erupted from camp as he replied: “Absolutely, Carol. You can touch the stick. It’s such a sturdy shaft.”
Later as she picked up a log, Joel cheekily whispered to her: “Maybe like a thicker, shorter one. Just like me.”
Ex-Skins star Joel has form for dating an intelligent, older lady. At 22, he had a 34-year-old doctor girlfriend. He has also said: “I would absolutely date an OAP.”

Footage of the pair flirting was shown on ITV2’s spin-off I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp, hosted by former winners Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon.
Last year’s Queen of the Jungle Vicky, 28, was insistent Joel and Carol were going to get together.
She said: “One relationship in my opinion that seems to be completely flying is Carol and Joel.”

Carol has been single since splitting from Red Arrows pilot Graham Duff, 41, this year.
- VIEWERS are angry at the number of ads during each episode. ITV is abiding by the rule of less than 12 minutes an hour. But the Aunt Bessie’s promos are considered separate.
