The Spice Girls lash out at ‘sexist’ film director in brilliant leaked unseen footage
The sleazy director felt the full brunt of their Girl Power
THE Spice Girls hit out a "sexist" film director who tried to make them show “more cleavage and midriff” branding him a “chauvinistic pig.”
In never-before-seen footage of the band on set of their 1997 Polaroid commercial, the Girl Power peddling group were having none of the director’s demands to show more flesh.
In the leaked video, Mel B is seen asking: “Was it you? Why did you ask that [we show cleavage and midriffs]?”
“It’s every man’s fantasy,” replied the director, before adding: “That’s showbiz.”
Not taking his nonchalant approach lying down, Mel tells him, "Well you can f**k off!" before Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham then get involved.
“You’re a chauvinistic pig, that’s such a cop out,” declares Geri at his lame “that’s showbiz” excuse.
While Victoria adds: “That’s not funny, stop trying to look cool.”
Then proving that no one messes with VB, she then removes his sunglasses and tries to sell them for a quid.
And it looks like the Spice Girls won their battle, as in the final advert there wasn’t a cleavage of midriff in sight.
