Coronation Street spoiler: Villain Phelan’s scam ‘set to be exposed’, while Ken Barlow’s missing son is caught reading to him in hospital
The cobbles' much-loved character Ken Barlow recently suffered a stroke, and now his whole family are gathering
THE mystery surrounding Coronation Street con-man Pat Phelan grows on the cobbles tonight, as he finally attempts to convince Eileen of his innocence.
Michael Rodwell has been digging into the scheming character, and is convinced Phelan and Vinny's property development is bogus after hearing them discussing Mexico over the phone.
After visiting the property site, he tells Eileen it's deserted, before relaying the phone conversation he overheard.
Confronted by Eileen, Phelan attempts to explain himself, unaware the entire time that Faye Windass has taken his phone after being dared by her boyfriend Seb.
However, Eileen is temporarily distracted as she catches Tim eavesdropping, and Phelan manages to slip out.
Reaching breaking point in the Rovers later, Michael confronts Phelan and tells him to show Eileen what's in his rucksack.
Will Phelan manage to escape with all eyes firmly rooted on him now?
And it all looks set to come out, as Anna spies a message on the phone Faye has stolen, but will Michael take his opportunity to find more evidence?
Elsewhere, Ken Barlow is set for not one but TWO surprise visitors tonight, as his long-lost son Daniel is caught reading to him in hospital - moments before his grandson Adam walks in.

However, when there they're thwarted by Ken's nurse, who claims he doesn't want to see any of them.
Letting her ragey side out, Tracy barges past and into the room ,with Adam on her tail, only to find Daniel reading to his dad by his bedside.
Appearing completely shocked by the surprise visitors, Ken looks on as Tracy confronts Daniel.
Could the family be set for a dramatic clash?
Meanwhile as distraught Kirk reveals Maria has been charged with murder, leaving Aidan feeling awful about failing to dispose of the scissors.
