Geordie Shore new girl Eve Shannon is fame hungry beauty queen who hounded Charlotte Crosby and is mates with Marnie Simpson

GEORDIE Shore newcomer Eve Shannon has spent years tweeting the stars of the MTV show in a bid to befriend them.

The latest addition to the GS "family" is a hardcore fan of the show - and a scroll through her Twitter feed reveals several heartfelt pleas for a meet and greet with the cast.

Back in 2011 she tweeted former star Charlotte Crosby to tell her she's "amazing" and to ask where she was clubbing that night.

Sadly for Eve though, this week Charlotte and Holly Hagan - who has also quit - took to social media to mock the newcomers, and started using the hashtag "#RIPGeordieShore".

There was further disappointment for her at the hands of her small screen heroes when she tried to meet former castmember Greg Lake.

She found out that he would be flying in to Newcastle airport so went to meet him - but as she failed to cross paths with him, had to console herself with a Greggs pastry.

She tweeted: "Going all the way to the airport, realising @GregGShore isn't there, but greggs is, getting a doughnut and back home..."

Around the same time she tweeted ex-star James Tindale after bumping in to him in a shopping centre - but sadly it looks like he didn't want to continue their friendship.

She's also begged Joey Essex, Olly Murs and Louis Tomlinson to follow her so she can easily slide in to their DMs - and promise to "love them forever".

Eve was a Miss Sunderland 2013 finalist but knows how to party hard after spending a season working in Ibiza.

However, one member of the crew she HAS successfully managed to befriend is boss Anna, who she has been posing up for pictures with since 2013.

One picture that she might come to regret is of her looking friendly with Marty McKenna.

His surgery-loving ex Chloe Ferry has been dropped from the show after kicking Zahida Allen - Eve's best friend and fellow newbie - in the head after seeing them looking friendly.

Thankfully she has one other ally in the Geordies' compound, Marnie Simpson.
