I’m a Celebrity viewers mock Adam Thomas for sounding like Scooby Doo as he screams his way through Bushtucker Trial
I'M A Celebrity's Adam Thomas has been compared to Scooby Doo during the latest Bushtucker Trial.
The Emmerdale actor was clearly petrified as he and Joel Dommett took part in the Stranded challenge - which saw them in the Bushman's lodge which was infested with critters.
Spiders were there to distract the pair from completing their Morse Code challenge - but terrified Adam couldn't help scream and cry during the challenge, and viewers were quick to notice he sounded like the iconic cartoon character.
Taking to Twitter, fans of the show enjoyed a good giggle at the 28-year-old's expense.
One wrote: "Adam is doing a brilliant impression of Scooby Doo," while another wrote: "Adam is actually sounding like Scooby Doo! Chill man! #ImACeleb @imacelebrity hilarious though!"
Hundreds of people picked up on the likeness, with another writing: "Adam sounds like he should be on scooby doo with them reactions" alongside crying with laughter emojis, while a fellow viewer simply asked: "When did Adam get replaced by Scooby Doo?"
It wasn't just the viewers who were caught off guard by Adam's strange noices, as camp mates Jordan Banjo and Wayne Bridge, who were sending signals for the words, were baffled by the sounds being made.
Jordan remarked that he had "no idea what was going on".
The actor, who clearly suffers from arachnophobia, was embarrassed afterwards and admitted that after that night he was a "broken man" and "a bit of a mess".
He also admitted to Larry that he "cried" during the challenge.
But father figure Larry comforted him by saying: "You'll be a bigger man for it."
