‘I’LL TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW’

After The Missing’s SHOCK cliff hanger here’s what Nadia Hertz could reveal to Julien Baptiste

After years of searching for Alice Webster and Sophie Giroux, Detective Baptise is about to find the missing piece in the puzzle

SHE promised to tell Julian Baptiste all she knew on the last episode of The Missing and now Nadia Hertz could finally lead him to the person who kidnapped Alice Webster.

As the ranking officer in Iraq in 1991, Nadia knows just what happened with Adrian Stone and Henry Reed which is critical to Baptiste's investigation.

Now, after hiding the truth for so long, Nadia's confession is set to blow viewers' minds.

What did Henry Reed and Brigadier Stone do in Iraq?

As their superior in Iraq in 1991, Hertz is keeping a dark secret and she isn’t keen to let on.

Stone has talked about a murdered girl – the sister of Mirza Barzani – but did he do it?

Or is there more than one person with blood on their hands.

Could Stone actually be a good guy?

He’s been made out as the villain of the series with his eerie threats to Sophie but could he have been trying to protect her?

The fable about the birds and the turtle could have been advice to keep her safe, rather than a threat.

The confusing story which has kept viewers on the edge of their seats but will Nadia’s revelation help answer these questions?

Could Adam Gettrick really be with Sophie?

Baptiste thinks the girl who pretended to be Alice, is in fact Sophie and now she could be in a relationship with army press officer, and murderer, Adam.

If it is Sophie, it appears she'd his child – after being locked in the basement of his house – and could now working alongside him.

But with the glint in her eye it seems the girl might not be prepared to play families much longer…

That's if she can keep away from his drill, which he used to brutally murder German detective Jorn Lenhart.

Could Matthew be more involved than first thought?

His attack on Brigadier Stone has got the police trailing Baptiste but it’s just one incident in a long line of situations Matthew has played a major part in.

He locked ‘Alice’ in the shed, his timing gave his dad Sam time to start an affair with Eve and he  organised the attack on Hertz.

But just who is the real kidnapper?

Viewers still don’t know whether it was the real Alice in the shed.

Although the DNA matched up to her dad Sam – there was no mention of her mum Gemma.

o could there be another child Sam is hiding? If yes, how did she end up dead?

Then again, evil Gettrick could have lied about the test results – covering his tracks and stopping himself being identified as the potential kidnapper.

Before he put a drill into the head of German detective Jorn Lenhart he hinted he had separated from the mother of his child – who later revealed in a painting she’d been locked in a shed.

And as Alice gave birth to a child at some point, could she be the mother of his child?

Eve’s been trying to find out the truth for the Webster family, now riddled with guilt after her affair with Sam came to light.

But it seems she’s got a lot more to hide, with Matthew finding baby scans which some viewers believe actually belonged to the abducted girls.

Viewers have their own theories however and they range from the utterly spectacular to the downright shocking.

The Missing continues on BBC One, Wednesdays at 9pm.
