Huge British pop star confirmed for King’s coronation concert alongside Katy Perry and Take That
PALOMA Faith will perform at the King’s Coronation concert, the Sun on Sunday can reveal.
The singer and actress, 41, will star in a special live performance for 10,000 people on Sunday May 7 at Windsor Castle.
London-born Paloma, whose hits include Only Love Can Hurt Like This, will take part in the free gig alongside Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That’s Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen.
An insider said: “Paloma is really excited. She is buzzing with creative ideas.”
The concert will be screened live by the BBC and include soul pianist Alexis Ffrench and singer Freya Ridings.
Charles and Camilla will be joined by Kate and William for the celebration, which will feature a spectacular drone display.
Viewers will also get to see the 300-strong Coronation Choir, which was formed from amateurs by a BBC reality show Sing For The King.
They are due to perform alongside The Virtual Choir of singers from the Commonwealth.
